Chris Mclver

Chris Mclver of Vancouver, BC, Canada, is Director for the Canada Wood Council, Chair of US Woodworks. He was appointed Vice President, Sales & Marketing for West Fraser in February 2016 and is based in Vancouver BC.  Prior to his most recent position, he had been Vice President, Lumber Sales and Corporate Development since 2011.  Chris is responsible for West Fraser’s Lumber, Pulp, Panel and Bio Product Sales in addition to the company’s transportation portfolio. Mclver currently serves as a Director for the Canada Wood Council, Chair of US Woodworks and a member of Forestry Innovation Investment BC’s advisory council and is a member of Forestry Innovation Investment BC’s advisory council.  Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and is married with two children.
