Fritz Mason

Fritz Mason currently serves as the President of Lumber at Georgia-Pacific where he manages their lumber manufacturing portfolio, including 12 sawmills across the Southern United States.  He has over 35 years of diverse experience in various roles in the forest products industry and has been leading the team at Georgia-Pacific for over 16 years.  Mason’s family has been involved in agriculture and forestry for five generations.  His connection with rural, forest-dependent communities continues today through his involvement in his family’s ranch, the AP Cattle Company, near Callahan, California. He currently serves on the Binational Softwood Lumber Council, the Softwood Lumber Board, the Board of Governors of the Southern Pine Inspection Bureau, and the American Wood Council and is a Regular Member of the Boone & Crocket Club.  Mason holds an MBA from Portland State University and a BS in Forestry from Humboldt State University.
